Photojournalist

3pm to 12am (Wednesday – Sunday)

WBTV, Raycom CBS in Charlotte, NC

WBTV News is looking for a smart photojournalist with an eye for video, an ear for great story telling and a nose for news.

Minimum 2 years of electronic news gathering experience.

College degree preferred.

Must be proficient in news videography, non-linear editing, live truck, LiveU and helicopter camera operations. P-2 camera and Edius editing experience is a plus.

Candidates must have good organizational and communication skills and must be able to meet deadlines under stressful situations. Must have and maintain an excellent driving record.

The successful candidate should expect to work a variety of schedules including nights and weekends.

Employee will be expected to cross-train in different areas of the news and production operations including ENG, Assignment Desk, Digital Media and Studio Production.

Must be willing and able to fly in our helicopter to operate the gyro-stabilized camera. Candidates should be capable of carrying 50 pounds of equipment.
