Job Description: WXII 12 Digital Media, the Hearst Television NBC affiliate in the Greensboro/Winston-Salem/High Point market, has an immediate opening for full-time reporter. Job Responsibilities: • Report for our daily television newscasts and digital platforms • Participate in editorial meetings and contribute fresh ideas for newscasts, sweeps and special projects • Represent WXII at public events • Be well versed in local, national and international news • Be able to work under extreme deadline pressure and respond to late changes • Contribute both written and video content to our digital products, including wxii12.com and our social media sites • Be available for unscheduled assignments on mornings, nights, weekends and holidays Experience Requirements: • Prior television reporting experience • Familiarity with latest social media trends and products • Non-linear editing on Adobe Premier is a plus Education: • College degree preferred
