Broadcast & Emerging Media Specialist (Advanced)

UNC-TV, RTP, seeks an energetic individual to develop and articulate the television production resource schedule. Position schedules production crews, facilities, and other resources for the production of more than 330 hours of original programs that UNC-TV produces each year. Position also provides technical and content development production assistance in the studio and field as necessary.

Requires ability to independently schedule tasks, resources and materials, so work assignments are efficiently completed. Position requires a thorough knowledge of the broadcast television process including production content research and development and post production technologies. Ability to make aesthetic judgments regarding production values and the ability to successfully work with others and communicate ideas is essential.

Graduation from high school and one year of experience in the specialized area(s) in a broadcast television and emerging media environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with ScheduALL scheduling and Final Cut Pro editing software preferred. College degree in broadcast technology, communications, or related field is preferred.

Salary range: $26,761-$58,009. Proposed hiring range: $26,761-$41,916.
