The North Carolina Cable Telecommunications Association (NCCTA) is the state trade association for businesses involved in cable telecommunications. Formed in 1965, NCCTA has grown steadily as a support network for the state's cable industry with the purpose of:

• Advancing the interests of the cable industry before the legislative, executive and judicial branches of government
• Helping cable operators run efficient and well-managed systems
• Educating the public, state leaders and businesses about the uses and value of cable
