I move to approve the $3750 budget request from the CDF Advisory Council to fund the development of a K-12 module for the CDF Curriculum Enhancement Project.

Discussion:

The NCDA Board is asked to vote on a proposed budget request from the CDF Advisory Council.  As you know, they are in the midst of confirming a curriculum consultant to update the CDF curriculum which was approved in the annual budget.  They have selected Human Solutions (proposal attached) as the contractor.  The CDF Advisory Council recognized the need for an additional module focused on K-12 and the push for career and college readiness.  They have want to include this module in the curriculum enhancement.  An additional $3750 is requested for that work.    We will need a motion to approve this request, and a second, and will entertain questions before we vote.  Per NCDA policy, we have two weeks for this process.
