Membership Levels

There are three levels of membership that provide different types of lobbyist the opportunity to participate in NCPLA:

Association, Corporate, and Independent Lobbyists 

$150.00 per two year membership

Includes lobbyists who are employed by and for not-for-   profit associations; those employed by and for a corporation; and those independent lobbyists who represent associations or corporate clients.

Associate Members

$150.00 per two year membership

Includes business entities or organizations with a direct or indirect interest in the profession of lobbying. Associate members shall not have the right to vote, hold office, or attend meetings designated for members ony, but shall retain all other rights and privileges consistent with membership.

State Legislative Liaisons

$100 per two year membership

Includes only state legislative liaisons registered with the Secretary 
of State

Retired Lobbyists 

$75.00 per year

Includes career lobbyists who have retired from active lobbying but retain an interest in the lobbying community.
