Energy Division Manager
CHS Member Cooperative in South Central Wisconsin
Located in a beautiful area of west-central Wisconsin near Black River Falls, CHS Aligned Solutions is partnering with a member cooperative to hire an immediate need for an Energy Division Manager. This position is a local cooperative position and will report directly into the cooperative CEO. This is an excellent opportunity for a person to bring together an Energy team to motivate and coach for higher performance.
Position Overview:
The Energy Division Manager will be responsible for implementing practices to ensure a positive return for the Energy Division. They will direct, promote, and coordinate the energy division in a manner that will optimize the cooperative's market share and savings, improve the cooperative's efficiency, help achieve the cooperative's mission and goals and result in outstanding customer service.
The Energy Division Manager's responsibilities involve supervision, marketing, profitability and sales, reporting, purchasing, resale pricing, inventory, service, setting and adjusting margins depending on current market conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and knowledge in petroleum, refined fuels and propane. A strong leader who can think independently and bring innovative thoughts will best fit into this position.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have previous management experience and ability to motivate and lead teams
- At least 5 years’ experience in operations, sales and management experience specific to Energy
- 3 or more years’ experience developing and executing marketing plans
- Excellent skills in written and verbal communication
- Excellent attention to detail, well organized, cooperative and willing to assist others
- Previous experience managing a successful fleet of delivery vehicles and managing logistics
- Past responsibility in purchasing fuel and working with contracts
Preferred Qualifications:
- CES background and strong sales and presentation skills
- Current CDL license
- Proven successful experience in managing the margins in Energy
- Good overall business and customer service sense
