OABA Educational Trust Golf for Scholarships Outing Recap

Register for Aug. 19 outing by July 31 for early registration discount

This year’s Ohio AgriBusiness Association Educational Trust Golf for Scholarship early scramble on June 24 was a huge success, with more than 110 golfers coming together at the Deer Ridge Golf Club in Bellville to support the Educational Trust scholarship fund.

Honoring Daryl Gates on August 19

Be sure to register by July 31 for the early-bird discounted rate for the late scramble, which will take place Aug. 19 at the Shelby Oaks Golf Club in Sidney. During the event, we’ll be honoring Daryl Gates, Morral Companies, LLC, so come out to support Daryl’s commitment to the industry!

The late scramble will also feature a raffle drawing for a basketball autographed by OSU Head Coach Thad Matta and a pair of tickets to Ohio State University’s Nov. 21 home game vs. Michigan State.

The Golf for Scholarships outings are the primary fundraising activities for the Ohio AgriBusiness Association Educational Trust scholarship program, through which nearly $35,000 in scholarships is provided to students enrolled in an agriculture-related field attending The Ohio State University and OSU Agricultural Technical Institute, Clark State Community College and Wilmington College.
