Workshops Scheduled for CCAs who Provide Agronomic Services to Producers in the Western Lake Erie Basin

Ohio workshop scheduled for Aug. 13

PURPOSE: The workshops will (1) provide an overview of the Western Lake Erie Basin (WLEB) Phosphorus Runoff Reduction Project recently funded through NRCS’s Regional Conservation Partnership Program (2) highlight potential project business opportunities and (3) provide training on assisting producers in developing nutrient management plans that will meet NRCS’s 590 Standard and make producers eligible for financial incentives to implement practices to reduce phosphorus and sediment runoff.
