As the leading grain and feed ingredient merchandising company in the Northeast for almost 70 years, Interstate Commodities, Inc. (ICI) provides value-added service to farmers and other customers at 30 U.S. locations.  

A diverse business, ICI markets more than 30 commodities and annually ships 350 bushels of grain and 2 million tons of feed ingredients. ICI operates grain storage facilities in the upper Midwest and across the country. The company also provides container shipments for export and runs a full service railcar leasing company and agronomy division.

Founded in 1947, ICI is a third-generation, family-owned company headquartered in Troy, New York. RM Railcars, a subsidiary of ICI, was founded in 2006 to handle leasing and management of 7,500 railcars, in addition to operating five full service railcar repair shops. In 2013, the company began shipping grain internationally for the export market. ICI has eight locations in Ohio and three Ohio grain facilities.

The Ohio AgriBusiness provides a support system to ICI, advocating for Ohio agribusinesses and providing networking and communication opportunities to the company.
