Asmark Institute Offers Training Courses for PSM Compliance

The Asmark Institute will offer four, two-day courses to help trade professionals understand the requirements of PSM. The courses are designed to help retailers with little knowledge of PSM understand how it will affect their business and what upgrades are necessary for a Program 3 RMP.

These courses are a result of Occupational Safety and Health Administration recently rescinding what was known as the "retail exemption" for agricultural retailers that store and handle anhydrous ammonia. The elimination of the retail exemption causes approximately 3,800 facilities to become subject to the Process Safety Management (PSM) rule. The recent change also causes former RMP Program Level 2 facilities to become subject to Program Level 3 requirements.

Mike Hazzan with AcuTech will teach the courses. Mike comes highly recommended with years of experience with PSM. Click here to learn more about Mike.

The courses will be conducted at the Ford B. West Center for Responsible Agriculture training center in Owensboro, KY. Course dates are Aug. 11-12, Sept. 9-10, Sept. 15-16 and Nov. 10-11. Visit the Course dates and locations are available on the registration page. Registration is $925 per participant.
