CropLife America Launches Website Redesign

Source: CropLife America

CropLife America (CLA) announced the launch of a refreshed and redesigned website that in part initiates new content and go-to resources about the crop protection industry. As the voice of the crop protection industry, CLA is committed to communicating how pesticide technology is developed, regulated and responsibly used to help grow food for communities around the world. With a more modern design and intuitive navigation, it is easier for site visitors to learn about the benefits of today’s agriculture, access press releases, reports and public comments, and share social media content.

“Food accounts for a significant portion of American household spending, ranked behind only housing and transportation, and consumers want to learn more about where their food comes from as they move farther away from the farm,” stated Jay Vroom, president and CEO of CLA. “Many consumers are interested to learn more and understand why farmers employ certain methods, such as the use of pesticides. Through the launch of our new website that speaks to a public audience, we hope to better communicate how crop protection products help farmers provide consumers with a selection of healthy food.”

The new website is built with a user-friendly layout that guides consumers through the story and benefits of crop protection technology and also facilitates advocacy and outreach efforts. The Our Values tab, for instance, includes sections on public health and safety, environmental health/sustainability, and human health/nutrition. On the new Newsroom webpage, website visitors can read the latest press releases, download an issue paper, view CLA’s public comments submitted to federal agencies, and see upcoming public events.

CLA’s social media platforms will continue to be available through the website, including the CLA Facebook page, Twitter account and YouTube account. Developed on a mobile-friendly platform, visitors can access the website on cell phones or tablets. Visit the new website at www.croplifeamerica.org.
