OABA Welcomes Nicole Wallace as Student Intern

Nicole Wallace has joined the Ohio AgriBusiness Association staff as a student intern. Wallace is a fifth-year senior at The Ohio State University and is majoring in agricultural communication and public affairs. She will graduate in December 2016.

Wallace has worked with OABA in the past, handling social media at the 2016 Annual Industry Conference and volunteering at the 2015 Legislative Reception at the Ohio Statehouse.

“Nicole’s previous experience will be a strong asset for OABA,” said Chris Henney, OABA president and CEO. “We’ve enjoyed working with Nicole during the Industry Conference, and we’re excited to have her join the team this summer.”

For the past two summers, Wallace interned with Wilt Public Relations, where she generated content for social media, news releases and websites for agricultural clients.

Wallace grew up in Gibsonburg, Ohio and was active in both 4-H and FFA. She has also been involved in student organizations on Ohio State’s campus, including the OSU Athletic Band, Alpha Omicron Pi sorority and Collegiate Young Farmers.
