Grain Merchandiser Risk Academy to Help New Grain and Feed Merchandising Professionals

INTL FCStone will offer an interactive, three-day “pure education” Grain Merchandiser Risk Academy to introduce and educate new merchandisers about their role in today’s changing and challenging markets. The program will be held Aug. 2-4, 2016 in Chicago, Illinois.

The program is designed for professionals who recently began working in a merchandising role or those that have recently transitioned to that position. Additionally, senior university level students who plan to enter the grain and feed industry in the near future would benefit tremendously from this program.

The academy will allow attendees to:

• Understand the market risks facing the industry and customers
• Expand knowledge of the futures, options and OTC markets
• Improve understanding of key industry concepts, including basis, spreads and margin
• Strengthen skills in grain origination, cash market contracts and record keepings
• Network with peers in the grain and feed industry
