OABA Welcomes Nicole Wallace as Communication & Administrative Coordinator

Wallace StaffThe Ohio AgriBusiness Association has hired Nicole Wallace as its communication and administrative coordinator. Wallace will help provide comprehensive communication support for the association, while also assisting in office administrative functions.

“I’m excited to have Nicole join the team at OABA,” said Chris Henney, OABA president and CEO. “Her strong agricultural background and experience in communication and public relations will benefit the association and our member companies.”

Wallace is currently completing her bachelor’s degrees at The Ohio State University, studying agricultural communication and public affairs. Wallace will work part-time until graduation in December and will transition to full-time on Jan. 1, 2017.

A familiar face at OABA events, Wallace has volunteered at the annual Industry Conference and the Legislative Reception at the Ohio Statehouse. She also served as OABA’s 2016 summer intern. For the past two summers, Wallace interned with Wilt Public Relations, where she generated content for social media, news releases and websites for agricultural clients.

Wallace grew up in Gibsonburg, Ohio and was active in both 4-H and FFA. As a student at Ohio State, she was involved in the Ohio State Athletic Band, Collegiate Young Farmers and Alpha Omicron Pi sorority.
