The Fertilizer Institute (TFI) and the Fertilizer Industry Round Table (FIRT) invite you to the Fertilizer Outlook and Technology Conference in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on November 15-17, 2016. This year's theme is "Adapting to a Changing Climate: Addressing the forces that are challenging our industry." The fertilizer industry, as with all of agriculture, is staring down a changing climate due to market pressures, regulations, and consumer demand. Join us in Fort Lauderdale as we explore how to address and adapt to these changes.

This year's conference features a wide range of speakers who will look at the supply and demand outlooks for major fertilizer nutrients and the agriculture industry. Kevin Patrick with the U.S. Department of Agriculture will kick off the speakers by taking a look at the financial health of the ag industry. 4R Advocate Darin Stolte will talk about how his farm operation has progressed after implementing 4R practices.

The second day will feature a round table program that highlights issues that are reshaping our industry. Speakers include Chase Koch of Koch Agronomic Services, Scott Angles of the International Fertilizer Development Center, and Jim Budzynski of MacroGain Partners. Additionally, Dr. William Wu of the Africa Soil Information Service (AfSIS) will discuss the innovative work AfSIS is conducting on soil and cropland information systems.

You also won't want to miss the TFI/FIRT reception at the Ft. Lauderdale Antique Car Museum! This exciting venue will give you the opportunity to take a peek at the cars while networking with your colleagues.
