OHIO MINIMUM WAGE INCREASES

Effective date, January 01, 2008

This is a reminder the Ohio Department of Commerce, Wage and Hour Division (ODC,W&H) increased the minimum wage. Effective January 1, 2008, the minimum wage in Ohio increased from $6.85 to $7.00 per hour for non-tipped employees. Remember, you will need to post this informationimmediately in a "conspicuous place" where employees are likely to view it. Failure to comply with minimum wage laws may result in substantial penalties.
