Kelvin Miller, age 55, Sales Manager of Ashand Scale Co., Inc. .

Passed away unexpectedly last week (7/14/11)

Kelvin joined ABSCO Scales in April of 1986 as a salesman in the Ashland, Ohio office.  Kelvin stayed with the company when it was purchased by Fred Gottfried in 1989 and became Ashland Scales. He has been Fred's sales manager, friend, and right hand man for 25+ years.

 Kelvin was well known in the scale industry, attending most industry conferences nationally and regionally as well as many vendor training conferences. As a avid hunter, he made many hunting trips around the country, often with others in the industry.  Kelvin also had a love of fastpitch softball and played for over 3 decades including on the Ashland Scales team.

He is survived by wife Vonn and 3 daughters and was looking forward to the birth of his first granddaughter.
