High Quality Horse Hay In Demand

Due to Texas Drought

OABA staff received the following request from a feed dealer in Texas:

We need very high quality horse hay.  Timothy or orchard mix is good.  Other may be considered.  Prefer 50 to 100lb bales, but will consider the 45 lb bales.  We have a shipper lined up and can pick up with 24 hours notice.  16 tons per semi is approximately what can be shipped at one time which is equivalent to 500 65lb bales.  After the first load is delivered we are looking at starting with 3 to 4 loads and we will build up from there.
