OABA Attends NGFA’s 40th Annual Country Elevator Conference

Last week, Ohio AgriBusiness Association (OABA) President and CEO Christopher Henney participated in the National Grain and Feed Association’s 40^th Annual Country Elevator Conference. The three-day event took place in Chicago, Illinois, and featured speakers and interactive sessions on a wide range of topics of interest to the grain and feed industry today.

Henney kicked-off his trip by attending the State Association Leadership Conference, where he heard the latest news from NGFA staff, heard from his counterparts across the country, and shared information about what was happening in the state of Ohio.  At the Country Elevator Conference, Henney visited with many Ohio members who were in attendance and took advantage of the valuable networking opportunities during breaks and the conference trade show.

Of particular interest to Henney were the presentations on MF Global and the OSHA inspection. OABA will continue to represent its members at industry events, making contacts and seeking information that could be valuable to our members.
