OABA Kicks Off New Year with Two Events
Custom Applicator Day and Bowling for Scholarships
The Ohio Agribusiness Association is kicking off the new year with two association-sponsored events: Custom Applicator Day and Bowling for Scholarships.
Custom Applicator Day will be held January 25, 2012 in Waldo, Ohio. The event will feature industry experts focusing on the practical side of custom application, including topics like weed resistance, cover crops, insect resistance, rotating chemistries and more. Participants, exhibitors and sponsors can register online on OABA’s website at www.oaba.net or by printing and mailing the event brochure. The participant registration fee is $65.00 for OABA members or $85.00 for non-members.
OABA Bowling for Scholarships will take place on February 10, 2011. This annual event raises money for the OABA Educational Trust, which provides scholarships to college students with an agribusiness focus. It is a four-person handicap event and is limited to the first 28 teams to sign up. Following the team competition, the top 24 players will then compete in a single elimination tournament. The cost to participate is $25 dollars and includes a pizza buffet. To register, go to OABA’s website at www.oaba.net or print and mail the event brochure. If you are unable to attend, you are still welcome to contribute to the OABA Educational Trust (see event brochure).
