The Wisconsin Agri-Business Association Names Its Executive Director

The Wisconsin Agri-Business Association has named Tom Bressner as its Executive Director. Bressner is a native of Pontiac, Illinois, where he grew up on a corn/soybean/dairy farm, raising and showing Registered Guernsey Dairy Cattle. He holds a B.S. Degree in Agri-Business Management from Illinois State University. Prior to working in Wisconsin, he spent more than 30 years working for agricultural cooperatives, with more than 23 of those years as general manager. Since March 2011, Bressner has served as the Interim Executive Director of the Wisconsin Agri-Service Association.

The Wisconsin Agri-Business Association (WABA) is the new association formed by the merger of the Wisconsin Crop Production Association and the Wisconsin Agri-Service Association, which took effect on April 1, 2012. WABA represents more than 350 member companies engaged in the grain, feed, fertilizer, chemical, seed, equipment and farm supply businesses all across the State of Wisconsin. WABA currently operates out of two offices, Madison and Waunakee, but plans on consolidating to one location in the near future.
