OABA teams up with Asmark Institute on professional applicator training class

The Ohio AgriBusiness is pleased to be partnering with Asmark Institute on a professional applicator training course in Ohio. The one-day course will be held March 11 in South Charleston and March 13 in Caledonia.

The course will focus on maximizing performance while minimizing spray drift. Asmark decided to offer the course after becoming aware in 2009 of a void in high quality professional applicator training available in commercial applicators. The class is interactive and hands-on.

“This is a great training program, and we encourage our member companies who have custom applicators to take advantage of this course,” said Chris Henney, OABA's president and CEO.

To supplement the course, a master applicator handbook has been compiled containing all the information that has been identified as being a relevant and valuable resource. The recommendation will be to take the course on a three-year cycle. An applicator that pays and attends every three years will receive a current version of this handbook as part of their registration.

The cost for the one-day course is $220 per pre-registered participant and $295 per walk-in. To register, click here (https://www.asmark.org/TrainingCourses/CourseCalendar.cgi?4). For more information, visit https://www.asmark.org/TrainingCourses/PATCourse.cgi
