OABA Anhydrous Ammonia Safety Workshop recap

Earlier this month, 236 Ohio AgriBusiness Association members, agribusiness professionals and emergency response personnel came together for the 2014 OABA Anhydrous Ammonia Safety Workshops in Mechanicsburg, Marion and Custar.

This year’s anhydrous ammonia workshop featured a hands-on format designed to help participants “learn by doing.” Participants spent the morning in a classroom setting and then moved to a nearby anhydrous facility to apply the information presented in the first portion of the training. Participants broke into smaller, more interactive groups to participate in hands-on break-out sessions throughout both facilities.
