Northwest Ohio SWCDs Present Nutrient 9-1-1! For Farmers

 

The Northwest Ohio Soil and Water Conservation Districts are hosting “Nutrient 9-1-1! for Farmers.” The session, to be held Sept. 11, will feature demonstrations of nutrient and conservation equipment. It will also include an introduction to blind inlets and bioreactors.

The event will be held at the Blue Creek Conservation Area in Whitehouse, Ohio. Demonstrations will run from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., and a complete schedule can be found here. From 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., there will be networking opportunities, along with food available for purchase, at the Big White Barn on Schadel Road.

The evening will conclude with a workshop from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The workshop will feature speakers presenting topics including soil health, SB 150 and the state of Lake Erie, and continuous corn in an ecological farming system.
