Free Webinar for Watershed Organizations: Building Partnerships with Ag Retailers

Source: IPM Institute of North America

Ag retailers are key partners for achieving water quality objectives in the Great Lakes Basin.  Ag retail agronomists are the primary influencers of input decisions made by farmers on a majority of cropland acres in the Basin, and offer products and services which can help keep soil, fertilizer and pesticides for the crop, and out of waterways. These products and services include cover crops, soil testing, and precision and custom input application.

On Oct. 30, 2014 from 11:00-12:00 p.m. Eastern, watershed organization leaders and members are invited to participate in a free webinar to learn about opportunities to partner with ag retailers to address resource management issues. Presenters include:

  • Cindy Brookes, Watershed Coordinator, Sandusky River Watershed Coalition

  • Carley Kratz, Program Director, River Raisin Watershed Council

  • Logan Haake, Precision Agronomy Manager, Legacy Farmers Cooperative

This webinar is intended for watershed organizations and is open to all who are interested in learning more about building partnerships with ag retailers.
