JobDescription.......... The Hospitalists of Northern Michigan provide inpatient care for Alpena Regional Medical Center in Alpena, Michigan. We provide consult services, admissions, and cover general medicine and ICU inpatients. We are adding a third and fourth PA with Hospitalist experience for increased coverage. The Hospitalists of Northern Michigan are known for providing outstanding inpatient medical services and outstanding relationships with medical staff. As a physician assistant or nurse practitioner with HMM, you'll enjoy the support of a large group (6 locations) with an excellent reputation. We have been working with PAs in our Hospitalist programs for 15 years with great success and have published and presented nationally on the subject. We give people great training and support, good autonomy and oversight.
Alpena Regional Medical Center is a 146-bed regional referral center in Northern lower Michigan on the "sun-rise" side of the state. Alpena Regional Medical Center is a Michigan Governor's Award of Excellence recipient for several years. There are nearly 100 physicians on staff, over 900 employees, and 300 volunteers.
