Job Description.......... Genesis HealthCare System has a position available for a Physician Assistant to join 3 Gastroenterologists in their practice. Located just 45 minutes east of Columbus via Interstate-70, this position is to work in the outpatient setting but duties may expand as the service grows. Position is M-F, 8-5, 80 hours bi-weekly. Genesis is an integrated health care delivery system headquartered in Zanesville, Ohio, which includes a not-for-profit hospital that operates 450+ beds at two sites, 2800 employees, an extensive network of more than 300 physicians and multiple outpatient care centers throughout its six-county region. Located less than one hour east of Columbus via Interstate-70, this family-friendly region offers the perfect work-life balance of suburban and rural settings with easy accessibility to international airports, national/college sports events, and wide range of additional arts/culture activities in Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, or Pittsburgh. The renovated and expanded hospital campus will open in Spring 2015 with six centers of excellence. Candidates must be a teamplayer, and possess or eligible for an unencumbered Ohio license, and some post-training experience as a Physician Assistant, preferrably in Gastroenterology
