Position................ Physician Assistant, (PA-C)
We are seeking a motivated detail oriented Physician’s Assistant (PA-C), to join our team! The PA that joins our team will primarily work in a clinical office setting under the direction of the Pain Management Physician, however may be shared with the Neurosurgeon. Prefer a candidate with experience in pain management, neurology, or spine surgery, but not required. Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
Duties Include but are not limited to: Assessing patients in clinic, prescribe medication based on efficacy, safety, and as legally authorized; clinical phone calls; surgical patient phone calls; post-operative wound checks; evaluating and interpreting imaging studies; ordering and interpreting labs; 1st assist in surgical cases; occasional hospital rounding.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma
College graduate, (Bachelors degree)
Masters — Physician Assistant program or other approved Physician Assistant program graduate Licensed / Certified PA in the state of Ohio
Eligible to secure a DEA license in the state of Ohio upon hire
Eligible for approval of privileges to practice within the Hospital as an Allied Health Professional through the Medical Staff Organization Certified as PA
Pass an FBI & BCI background check Current CPR certification (within 3 months of hire).
Ability to use computer program for documentation (electronic health record)
