The Oncology Hematology Associates is hiring a full-time Physician Assistant to help support the UPMC CancerCenter for its Steubenville, Ohio location. The PA will be responsible for setting standards for the level and quality of care, managing and providing patient care activities, and collaborating with physicians, other health care providers, and patients and families. This position will work 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with rounding coverage at Trinity Hospital.
Basic Qualifications:
Physician Assistant:
• Graduate of a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) is required
• Bachelor’s or master’s candidate preferred
• Experience as a physician assistant and/or experience in a clinical setting is preferred
**Oncology or internal medicine experience is highly preferred
