PA Program - Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor/Director of Clinical Education (Dublin, OH)

  Ohio University, Division of Physician Assistant Studies, is hiring a Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor/ Director of Clinical Education (11 month, non-tenure track, full time appointment) depending upon qualifications. This position will be assisting the Program Director at the newly developed campus in Dublin, OH as part of the Master of Physician Assistant Practice Degree which began in May 2015.

The successful candidate will teach courses in their specific area of expertise, advocate and support the mission of the program within the medical and academic community, support the Program Director to ensure that supervised clinical instruction meets current practice standards, assist the Program Director in the ongoing identification, selection and maintaining of appropriate clinical rotation sites, secure and maintain clinical training affiliations and agreements and conduct regular visits to affiliated clinical sites and evaluate the quality of the learning experiences provided to PA students.

Qualifications for this position: Physician Assistants with a minimum of a master’s degree relevant to clinical practice, current NCCPA certification, eligibility for licensure in Ohio, and a minimum of three years of clinical experience, or, master’s degree in business or health related field and at least five years of experience working with physicians and other healthcare practitioners in a healthcare setting.
