American Health Network's East Main Street location is seeking a Physician's Assistant to work in a busy family practice setting. This is a full time position working Mondays - Fridays with Saturdays being required every 5 to 6 weeks. While working within standard processes and procedures, this individual will be performing acute/physical examinations on the patient and compiling medical data, including health history and results of the examination; administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests, and interpreting test results for deviations from the normal; developing and implementing patient management plans, recording progress notes, and assisting in providing continuity of care, instructing and counseling patients regarding compliance with prescribed regimens, and other topics; prescribing or recommending drugs or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy or related procedures; and more. Requirements:
Must have an active, unencumbered Ohio license
Must have an active certification by an appropriate board
Must have an active certificate to Prescribe from the appropriate licensing agency with DEA
