Ohio University, Division of Physician Assistant Practice, seeks applications and nominations for 4 Adjunct Faculty positions. We seek individuals who are licensed physician assistants or physicians with a commitment to working effectively with students, faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds. We are seeking individuals who are interested in lecturing on specific topics in our Clinical Medicine series, , Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Women’s Health, and Transition to Clinical Practice along with other courses of interest that are within your scope of practice. Other opportunities could include participation in student selection and admissions, academic and career counseling, advisor for scholarly projects, managing of clinical rotations and working with the Program Director and Director of Clinical Education to provide course and clinical oversight. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated success in clinical practice and /or teaching.

The Division of Physician Assistant Practice began offering the Master of Physician Assistant Practice Degree beginning with its inaugural class in 2015. We accept approximately 45 students per year into our 27 month program. We are located in Dublin, Ohio in a state of the art academic facility. The Division of Physician Assistant Practice is within the School of Rehabilitation and Communication Sciences in the College of Health Science and Professions (http://www.ohio.edu/chsp).

Previous experience working with PA students either as faculty or as a clinical preceptor.

Evidence of successful graduate teaching.

Excellent communication skills both oral and written.

Strong organizational and computer skills.
