PAs May Now Prescribe Schedule II
The DEA now recognizes Ohio as a State where PAs may prescribe Schedule II medications.
If you currently have a DEA registration you will need to update it on the DEA website. Go to the "Staying Legal" section of the website to update your registration.
Once you have updated your registration on the DEA website for Schedule II, you will need to wait to prescribe Schedule II until you receive a new certificate from the DEA. This will come by regular mail and will take about a week.
