Two Weeks Until Beacon Award Deadline

The 2015 entry deadline for the Beacon Awards® is March 20, exactly 14 days from today! The Beacon Awards® have been cable's highest recognition of communications and public affairs excellence since 1989. The Beacon Awards® Ceremony on June 4 will be one of the highlights of ACC's annual conference FORUM 2015, in Silver Spring, Maryland just across the border from Washington, DC.

The Beacon Awards® added 12 new categories for the 2015.  Six new Social Media categories are available for your Beacon® entry.  They include the best use of Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Video Channels and Emerging Social Tools. Additionally, six other new categories were added including Crisis Communications, Educational Materials, Events/Observances Internal & External, Events/Premieres, Mobil Apps, Programming Special or Miniseries Event, Programming Series, and Social Media Integrated Communications. The 2015 Call for Entry brochure is available on the ACC site in the Beacon Awards® section at https://www.cablecommunicators.org/pdf/2015_Beacon_Award_Call_for_Entries.pdf.

All 2015 Beacon Award® entries must represent work executed and results achieved between April 1, 2014, and March 31, 2015.
