Kasich Appoints Attorney Howard Petricoff to PUCO

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Gov. John Kasich has appointed veteran Columbus attorney Howard Petricoff to a seat on the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio.

"With decades of experience in utility and energy law, Howard Petricoff is exceptionally well versed in how these issues impact economic growth and job creation. I look forward to the expertise he will bring to the commission," Kasich said in a statement accompanying the announcement.

Petricoff retired last year after nearly 30 years with the Columbus office of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease and is considered an expert on energy law.
