Iowa Co-op Receives Funds to Build Broadband
Iowa is among 19 states that will share $190.5 million in federal grants and loans to improve broadband and other communications infrastructure in rural areas, the Agriculture Department said Wednesday. USDA officials said the South Slope Cooperative Telephone Company in North Liberty will receive a loan of $14.7 million to build a fiber network and make other system improvements.
