Kaitz Dinner Raises Over $1.4 Million
While the New York City temperatures cooled into the 60’s on the evening of Wednesday, September 17, the atmosphere was warm inside the New York Marriott Marquis, site of the 31st Annual Walter Kaitz Foundation Fundraising Dinner.
Nearly 1,000 industry leaders and professionals came together to honor Commissioner Mignon L. Clyburn, FCC and Debra L. Lee, Chairman and CEO, BET, as part of the industry’s annual celebration of diversity during Diversity Week. The event was co-chaired by Pat McAdaragh, President and CEO, Midcontinent Communications and Peter Rice, Chairman and CEO, Fox Networks Group, and sponsored by a plethora of media companies.
Hosted by Alicia Menendez, Anchor of "Alicia Menendez Tonight" on Fusion, the evening began with riveting solo and duo dance performances by the All Star Cast of the Emmy Award-winning, “So You Think Can Dance,” provided courtesy of Fox Television.
