Congratulations OAND President's Award winner!
Tamara Randall – Cleveland Dietetic Association is honored to present one of our own, Tammy Randall, as the recipient of the 2014 President’s Award. Tammy has a 16 year uninterrupted history of service to the profession of dietetics. As a new RD, Tammy was immediately involved in leadership roles in the Cleveland Dietetic Association, serving on the National Nutrition Month Committee and then taking on progressively greater leadership roles including holding elected offices of Nominating Committee and President. She was awarded the Recognized Young Dietitian Award in 2004. Tammy has continued to be actively involved in our district while also taking her talents to the state and national levels. As Ohio Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics President, Tammy had the insight and initiative to make important changes to the budget process to ensure the fiscal stability of the organization. She is to this day, still known as the “financial task master.” Tammy now serves as Delegate from Ohio to the HOD and is also the chair of the Member Value Committee at the Academy and she is recognized as a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Her dedication to the profession is most evident in the countless hours she has spent as preceptor for students at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Tammy Randall is an outstanding role model, educator, and leader with seemingly endless enthusiasm and energy for advancing the profession of dietetics. Cleveland Dietetic Association is so very, very proud of Tammy Randall, our 2014 President’s Award recipient.
