How to become a Member:
Regular dues are $25. Applicants must be a paid member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND). Please login to the Members only website, click Districts, then Membership Dues.
The Columbus Dietetic Association (CDA) is the professional organization that serves current Academy members in central Ohio. This district includes Athens, Coshocton, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Gallia, Guernsey, Hocking, Jackson, Lawrence, Licking, Madison, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble, Perry, Pickaway, Pike, Ross, Scioto, Union, Vinton, and Washington counties. There are approximately 300+ dietetic professionals in CDA.
Our mission is the advocate of the dietetic profession serving the public through the promotion of optimal nutrition and well being by advocating for its members.
Benefits to CDA membership include advocacy for its members, a source for Continuing Professional Education (6 per year), networking opportunities, guidance to influence legislation involving nutrition issues, skill-building, and community citizenship. Our quarterly district newsletter is mailed to members and available on-line. Members of The Columbus Dietetic Association support National Nutrition Month by producing a top-notch nutrition education video for local fire fighters and police officers. Membership is from July 1st - June 30th.
