The Dayton Dietetic Association (DDA) is the professional organization that serves current Academy members in the middle portion of western Ohio. This district includes Auglaize, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Green, Logan, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and Shelby counties. There are approximately 135 dietetic professionals in DDA.
Our mission is to be the advocate for the dietetic profession, serving the public through the promotion of optimal nutrition and well being by advocating for its members.
Benefits of DDA membership include advocacy for its members, Continuing Professional Education (4-5 per year), networking opportunities, guidance on nutrition related legislation, skill-building, and community recognition. Our district newsletter, DDA Newsletter, is published prior to each DDA meeting, is available on-line and is e-mailed to members.Members of The Dayton Dietetic Association support various activities throughout the year. Membership is from August 1st - July 31st.

Dues: $30 (Must be a paid member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics)
Students may join for $5. Students also must be a paid member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Non-Academy members are welcome to attend DDA meetings and are charged a $10.00 per CEU to help defray the cost of providing continuing education.
