Many states and provinces have now instituted training requirements for crematory operators and have selected CANA’s COCP as their official training program. Its educational value has been recognized by the Funeral and Memorialization Information Council (FAMIC). CANA has conducted certification programs throughout North America since 1984 and has certified thousands of operators in the United States, Canada and around the world.
