Concerned citizens participate in grassroots activities to educate political leaders about end of life, home and community based services and palliative care issues through organized outreach campaigns. These nonpartisan, educational activities include:

  • Contacting political leaders through letter-writing campaigns, phone calls and in-person meetings
  • Spreading the word to family, friends, business/civic group

If I had to sum up in one word what OHPCO has meant to my organization, it would be "security". I have relied on OHPCO from the onset of our Hospice Program development for guidance, information and all-round support. I know that if I have a question, I will get a timely response. The conferences and seminars they offer are invaluable, and the information garnered from attending these has allowed us to adopt or adapt our own Best Practices. The staff at OHPCO are consistently personable and responsive, regardless of the need or question being asked.
