10. INFORMATION

OHPCO/OHCO works with hospices, home cares and end of life leadership in the state on issues like strategic planning, environmental updates, NCQA, patient care, regulatory issues and helping with management issues.

9. COMMUNICATION

You will receive the President's Memo monthly, OHPCO/OHCO E-News (published 48 times a year) along with a monthly Advocacy Network newsletter to keep you informed of hot pressing issues regarding Medicare/Medicaid, legislation, regulations and other impacting topics.

8. SUPPORT

You will receive OHPCO/OHCO's membership directory providing you access to all of OHPCO/OHCO's members. You will also have the opportunity to benchmark and network with your peers around the state.

7. REPRESENTATION

You and your hospice will receive broad industry representation before governmental agencies and media by OHPCO/OHCO. OHPCO/OHCO is your most important voice and the first place policy makers and media turn for end of life information.

6. MISSION

You and the public you serve are OHPCO/OHCO's number one priority. OHPCO/OHCO will support you in your mission through education, advocacy, member assistance and increasing patient access to quality end of life care.

5. EDUCATION

You and your staff will grow by attending OHPCO/OHCO's conferences and workshops. You will also receive InTouch, OHPCO's quarterly publication as a valuable educational and resource tool.

4. STAFF

You will receive timely and courteous assistance to your questions by simply calling the OHPCO/OHCO office at 1-800-776-9513. OHPCO/OHCO is dedicated to providing you, your staff and the public quality customer service.

3. LEADERSHIP

You will have the opportunity to help lead Ohio's hospices in the 21st century by serving on an OHPCO/OHCO committee, task force, or the Board of Directors, presenting at an OHPCO/OHCO workshop, or contributing to OHPCO/OHCO's media publications.

2. RECOGNITION

You will have the opportunity to receive recognition for the quality of care you are providing through awards like the Rose and Sam Stein Award, The Heart of Ohio Award, The Friend of Hospice Award, The Volunteers are the Heart of Hospice Award, and the Person of the Year Award.
