The Soybean Rewards Program (SRP) program was established and funded in March 2006 by the Ohio Soybean Council with the objective to identify premium soybean contract opportunities and to promote these opportunities statewide to all farmers. The ultimate goal of this marketing campaign is to increase profitability for Ohio soybean producers and bring more business to your operation. Examples of premium soybean contracts include soybean varieties that contain low linolenic acid, high protein content, high oil content or food grade-specific, and non-GMO soybeans.

To ensure the success of this marketing campaign the SRP will be promoted through multiple marketing channels that include:

  • Print advertising campaign in The Ohio Soybean Review,
    Ohio Country Journal, and Leader Letter 
  • Direct mail promotions to Ohio Soybean farmers 
  • Radio advertising spots on ABN 
  • Dedicated website (www.SoyBeanRewards.org) that will
    serve as the central point to find all potential premium contracts.
