Transportation/Logistics

The Ohio Soybean Council (OSC) and the soybean checkoff are pursuing new opportunities for moving soybeans more efficiently and cost-effectively to domestic and international destinations.
With a unique combination of high-quality soybeans and world-class logistics infrastructure, Ohio is positioned to capitalize on these opportunities. OSC is working to improve existing transportation and logistics infrastructure, as well as identify new and emerging opportunities.
To accomplish this goal, OSC is focused on involving the entire Ohio soybean industry, building new partnerships and providing timely and relevant information regarding transportation opportunities to Ohio's soybean farmers and other stakeholders.
The Ohio Advantage
In addition to being a major agricultural state, Ohio is positioned geographically to capitalize on shipments to the East Coast. With the infrastructure and logistics already established in the state, and more enhancements coming in the future, Ohio soybean farmers have a tremendous opportunity.
