Eagle Seekers is Dayton's longest running charity golf tournament (27th Year), and our cause is to raise funds to support the healthcare needs of the underserved in the Dayton community. In 2014, the Foundation continued its efforts to improve women's health for the underserved population by creating a Comprehensive Breast Care Center at Grandview.
2015: RACE for Health (Resident and Community Education)
RACE for Health is an initiative to renovate parts of Grandview's aging medical education center (the OU building) to modernize the library space, purchase new technology and expand classroom space - and to begin a community wellness outreach program - using residents and staff to help educate our community about getting and staying healthy. These wellness programs will be offered on campus (to show off our wonderful new facilities) and in the community (to reach an underserved audience). RACE stands for Resident And Community Education - and the theme for the event is automotive/racing!
We hope you'll consider supporting Eagle Seekers, which provides much-needed resources for teaching clinics we offer for underserved patients and medical residents. These clinics are a win-win for the community; those who need healthcare receive it from physicians in training - learning from the best faculty in one of the best healthcare systems in the country!
