Family Medicine Position

West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine

Tenure Track Faculty Position in Family Medicine. The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking Physicians to join our Family Medicine program. These positions can be part-time or full-time. Candidates should be residency trained and be Board Certified or eligible in Family Practice. The candidates must be able to be licensed in the state of West Virginia. Academic and Clinic responsibilities are shared within this position.

Academic duties include training medical students, interns and residents with the primary responsibility being instruction of first and second year medical students in the classroom, lab and/or in the clinic. Academic responsibilities may include preparing and delivering lectures, assisting in skills labs, and other small group activities. Research is supported and participation in scholarly activities is expected.

Salary and faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and includes an excellent benefits package including medical malpractice insurance, educational loan reimbursement, and relocation expenses.
