The Ohio Pharmacists Association and the Ohio Society of Health-System Pharmacists have joined together to sponsor this program to inform you of crucial legislation involving pharmacy. You will learn how to make your voice heard in Ohio's political arena, and find out how important it is to keep your legislators informed about the pharmacy issues before them. Prior to the CE program, we will be sponsoring health screenings for legislators and their aides to showcase the value of pharmacist services.

This program is targeted to all Ohio pharmacists. At the conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
  • analyze the legislative process and the importance of being involved in your association
  • describe how to effectively communicate with and educate your legislators;
  • explain the importance of getting acquainted with legislative staff;
  • identify current legislative and regulatory issues impacting the practice of pharmacy;
  • summarize recent changes in Ohio State Board of Pharmacy rules; and
  • apply the new rules to the practice of pharmacy.

    Registration Fee:
    OPA or OSHP Member$69
    Non-member$89

    Driving directions, where to park, and a list of downtown hotels will be sent with your confirmation when you register for Pharmacy Legislative Day.
