Symposium Overview:

With advances in healthcare technology enabling patients with acute illnesses to survive longer, and hospitals under pressure to shorten length of stays, physical therapists are encountering an increasing acuity of patients across the spectrum of acute and sub-acute care. As physical therapy transitions to a doctoring profession, patients with acute health conditions present unique challenges for evidence based decision making. The OPTA Fall Scientific Symposium will present findings of current scientific research related to acute health conditions and explore the implications for physical therapy.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests received before October 1, 2012 will be refunded, minus a 20% administrative fee. No refunds after October 1, 2012. Cancellation requests must be made in writing.
